Chestnut Stuffing
Chestnuts give this stuffing a unique flavour that's perfect for roast chicken or turkey or baked in muffin tins for vegetarians. Also delicious made with gluten-free bread.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large Gala or Fuji apple (peeled, cored, and cut into 1/2-inch cubes)
  • 1 tbsp savory
  • 1 loaf of bread (cut into cubes)
  • 1/2 cup onion (finely chopped)
  • 120 g whole chestnuts (halved)
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable stock

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. If using a muffin tin, lightly grease it.
  2. Combine all ingredients and season to taste.
  3. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden.
