Pumpkin –
Enjoy the Flavour of Fall All Year Round

There is more than meets the eye when it comes to these orange winter squashes that decorate our doorsteps, windowsills, and dining tables every fall. Whether you are baking a traditional pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving dinner or if you are mashing up pumpkin to create a delicious pumpkin puree – the unique flavour of pumpkin is a fantastic addition to any meal.

Did you also know that this squash is highly beneficial to our health? Pumpkin has been known to be a strong antioxidant, rich in vitamin A, a natural immunity booster, and it promotes skin and heart health.

Pumpkin, as well as pumpkin pie spice can easily be added to a variety of desserts, including cheesecakes, mousses, ice cream and caffeine-free lattes making this ingredient a popular choice among chefs and home cooks.

Don’t miss out on roasting the seeds with some sea salt and olive oil in the oven. Each pumpkin has approximately 500 of them - so be prepared to do some scooping! Mix a little pumpkin pie cordial into a cocktail, unwind, and enjoy pumpkin flavours year-round.
