White Polenta is made from finely ground white corn and is a versatile ingredient for many dishes. It cooks into a smooth, creamy texture and pairs well with meats, vegetables, sauces, or cheese. It can be served soft and creamy or cooled and sliced for grilling, baking, or frying.
Cooking Instructions: Bring 5 cups of stock or water to a boil. Slowly whisk in 1 cup of polenta. Cook until the mixture thickens, about 3–5 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer for 30–45 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking or scorching. Serve immediately. For firmer polenta, reduce the liquid to 4 cups. Once cooked, pour into a loaf pan and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Slice and serve as desired.
