Quality Italian pasta for quick and classic dishes. Orzo Pasta is a small dried pasta that looks like rice, and when cooked has a firm texture and a delicious wheat flavour. A traditional choice in chicken stock soups with tiny meatballs. Create a risotto-like side dish and finish it with cheese, wine, stock, lemon peel, and fresh thyme. Add it to braised chicken for a one-pan meal. Toss with Greek salad ingredients for a pasta salad.

Cooking Instructions: 1. Bring 20 cups (5L) of water to a rapid boil. Add 1 tbsp (15mL) of salt, if desired. 2. Add 450g of pasta and stire until water returns to a boil. 3. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until pasta is “al dente” (tender but rm), approximately 6-7 minutes. 4 Remove from heat, drain well and serve as desired.
