Young Green Jackfruit is a tropical fruit native to Southeast Asia and it can be cooked simply in coconut milk and served as a side for rice or roti or added to curries made with pork or shrimp. It is used to make the pickle known as achar. Chefs are using it to make the vegetarian equivalent of pulled pork and the Vietnamese sandwich bao.
