Halen Môn began in a saucepan on the Aga in our
family kitchen. Today this Welsh sea salt sensation has caught the attention
of chefs and food lovers across the world.
Ten years ago we started by supplying Halen Môn sea salt to Swain’s, our
local butchers in Menai Bridge on the Isle of Anglesey. From the very
beginning we were determined to be a quality oriented business. It is a
commitment that has paid off. Even though we are tiny we now count global
blue chip companies among our customers. In the UK we supply Marks and
Spencer, Waitrose and Harvey Nichols along with over 100 of the nation’s
best delicatessens.
Outside the UK we have Halen Môn champions in 22 countries distributing our
increasingly famous white crystals and now a significant number of the
world's top 50 restaurants.
Most salts have their niche in different dishes, cuisines or cultures but we
are pleased that Halen Môn is increasingly making its way onto the menus of
top restaurants throughout the world.
